New Downtown Blogs

By Eric Richardson
Published: Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at 09:20AM

This morning I added the first two new downtown blogs to the sidebar on the right. That excites me. Celia, whose blog is titled 5th and Spring emailed me last night, so I checked out her site this morning. Then I added a link to Don Garza's Central City East blog. Don's everywhere Downtown, and these days he's doing a great job of taking pictures and writing about his experiences.

That's what I want to read: stories about the lives people live Downtown. I feel like I'm giving in to all that rhetoric they give me in my Communications classes, but I really just get caught up in the narratives people write. If you have a blog writing about Downtown, let me know. I want to read it.

I've seen LA & downtown are talked about here too:

Thanks Maureen. I saw that forum a couple days ago and think it's a cool resource. What I'm looking for on the sidebar, though, are people who have blogs with a large percentage of the content dedicated to Downtown. -e;
