eecue Making Maps Like He was a Cartographer

eecue has been showing off some cool goole-fu over the last few days. He's been scanning in photos from Los Angeles From An "Auto" (Part One -- Part Two, a 1906 book with pictures of a lot of Downtown buildings. Along with posting the actual pages, he's also taking the pictures and positioning them on a Google Maps interface. His goal is to have the old pictures from the book set against similar shots of the same locations today. He's continued his experimentations with the Google Maps API to try mapping Historical Cultural Monuments in Downtown. Very cool stuff.
