Cleaning Up Broadway

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Street services was on its game yesterday. Just a couple hours after the last marchers took off they had the battalion out cleaning up.

Walking past 7th/Broadway around 6pm I saw a good half dozen cleaning vehicles just on that corner. The dumping trucks were picking up cans and a street sweeper was running the other direction. I was impressed.

Reminds me of Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve. They had the street sweepers going by 3 a.m. and the street was spotless by 5 a.m.
