Again, At Least It's Not Construction

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — A little over a year ago the City made a lot of noise about banning road construction during rush hour. Making traffic move was of the utmost importance. And yet somehow it’s a perfectly good idea to let filming close one lane of 7th street in each direction from Flower to Hope during a weekday evening rush hour.
7th is heavily congested enough already. It doesn’t need more help. I hope the film company is at least forced to pick up the tab for the traffic officer working the intersection of 7th and Hope.
But as I’ve said before, at least it’s not construction.
