DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — It was a little over a week ago that Flexcar/Zipcar announced it was pulling out of Southern California, but you wouldn’t know it to see this lot on Hope street, between 7th and 8th. Cars had been pulled in the weeks prior, with the company saying they would be back as soon as the electronics were replaced with the Zipcar version.

Hi, Just thought you should all know that Zipcar has no plans to replace all previous Flexcars. They will only place cars at Southern Cal college campus locations, such as USC, UCLA. No more cars for Downtowners :( I verified this via telehpone with a Manager, Zipcar member services. A former Flexcar member myself, this is not good news.
