Cooper Design Space is part of the Intersection, at 9th and Los Angeles.

Living Downtown has its benefits and one of them is being so close to the best sample sales in the city. No longer do I have to battle traffic, I can just step out my building armed with a canvas bag and start shopping blocks from my front door.

One sale definitely worth mentioning is coming up at the Cooper Design Space, one of my absolute favorite showroom buildings, on April 25 & 26. Not only will you be able to pick through Splendid’s soft T’s, Trina Turk’s brightly patterned dresses and colorful American Apparel leggings, but all the proceeds will benefit the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking.

CAST LA works toward ending all instances of human rights violations including acts of forced labor and slavery like practices and helps trafficked workers get back on their feet with job training and social services.

Some of the designers participating in the sale include…

Trina Turk / Michelle Mason /
Robert Rodriguez / Rozae Nichols /
Mike & Chris / Jenny Han /
Splendid / Ed Hardy /
Wilster / American Apparel /
Hype / Lily McNeal /
Jack Rabbit / Notice /
Roar / Lip Service

You better go early though or that Jenny Han silk top will be mine!

See you at the sale.

Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 / 10am - 4pm / Cooper Design Space / 1st Floor lobby & 9th Street Entrance / 860 South Los Angeles Street
