DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Adoro Mexican Grille is taking reservations for a special evening of music, margaritas and moonlight on Saturday, May 17th. From 8 - 11pm, the restaurant will feature music by Jose Garcia and his combo, along with drink specials and an enlarged patio lit with twinkling lights and other special touches. Garcia’s band plays everything from traditional Spanish and Mexican favorites to Sinatra, so there definitely is something for everyone.
Adoro is the type of place that you would probably dismiss immediately if you didn’t know better. It sits next to a boring and rather generic Anne Taylor in the 7+Fig Shopping Center. But over the past several months it’s become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Not only do they have fantastic food, but their margaritas are the best.
If you are looking for a fun way to enjoy a Saturday night Downtown, this would be my suggestion. Music starts at 8 and special tequila flights featuring the FRIDA collection round out the bar menu.

Adoro is a really great find. Thanks for highlighting it Jeannine. Are you going on Saturday?
I love their margaritas and the food is always spot-on delicious! It’s also a great outdoor dining option in the evenings. Their outdoor patio has great views of the city skyline but it’s far enough from the street such that you’re not breathing in fumes while enjoying your dinner. It’s definitely worth a visit in my opinion.
No. I’ll be at the official launch party for the Downtown Film Festival. But if I didn’t have plans, that’s where I would be ; )
