Tuesday: Talk Internet Marketing with Bloggers and Businesses

Tuesday evening, May 27th, the VEDC’s Historic Downtown Retail Project is hosting an Internet marketing workshop for Downtown businesses. The event, located at the Central Library, is intended to help businesses understand how best to get the word out to Downtowners about what they’ve got going on.

Ed and I will be waving the blogdowntown flag and talking about what we wish businesses were doing to reach out. The panel put together for the night also includes Bert Green, Angelenic and Curbed.

There was a similar workshop held in October of 2006, and I stopped by that one to talk about a similar topic. Two years later and it’s still the same message.

it’s a shame that celia and i have other commitments, because this is interesting to us from both angles.
