Make sure your calendars are marked for this Saturday morning, October 4, when we're getting together to talk photography and take pictures of Downtown Los Angeles. It's our second ShootDowntown Meetup, and everyone's invited to come join us and see the city from behind the lens.

We'll be meeting up at 9am at Arda's Cafe (418 W. 6th, across 6th from Pershing Square). After some tasty waffles and Downtown talk we'll be heading out to go explore the city. The plan is to leave Arda's at 10am and to finish at noon.

No matter your level of skill or comfort with a camera, come out to meet others interested in Downtown and get a chance to observe what others find photo-worthy.

Plus: Thursday, October 9th, is the Downtown Art Walk and we're holding a kickoff event for verbdowntown (our newly formed non-profit parent). As part of the event we'll be digitally exhibiting some of the photos produced by those who attend Saturday's meetup. It's your chance to exhibit on Art Walk.
