Drivers coming north on Figueroa this morning got a sight of things to come as workers at LA Live tested out a newly installed big screen on the side of the complex's ESPN building.

The multi-story LED screen flashed different test patterns as the crew worked to make sure all the pixels were firing.

The LA Live complex is in the midst of bringing most of its retail online. Bowling lounge Lucky Strike held its opening festivities this weekend, and officially opens to the public tonight. Restaurant openings occur throughout December.

Personally I think the LED screen should be much bigger then that. It's too small.
