Times' Clock Face Returns
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Curbed was very fond of following the fate of the L.A. Times' clock, noting its absence, mistakenly saying it had returned and then noting that it, in fact, had not.
The site should be glad to know that the 1st street side of the building is once again telling time.
The hands were returned just over a week ago, after having their neon lighting restored.
The clock was originally put into place on September 6, 1934. The timepiece is 15 feet in diameter and stands 135 feet above 1st street.

The L.A. Times clock is beautiful in its simplicity--I'm glad to see it's back.
Due to the clock's absence, I have come to learn that I probably have OCD when it comes to knowing what time it is (haha). I've always loved being able to look up and see the time on buildings.
Need some more building clocks along Broadway...!
