At the Continental Gallery, this eye-catching piece pictured a Downtown full of small patches of green space.

The Downtown Art Walk for February 2009 had a chill in the air, prompting galley-goers to spent more time indoors mingling and mixing.

The late night scene was perhaps less pronounced than previous months. Even before the Art Walk's oft-ignored 9pm end, Bert Green Fine Art's roll-down gate was closed. At 9pm, doors were closed at both the Regent Theatre and the Continental gallery.

Despite the change and the cold, the number of pedestrians on the street seemed strong. The crowd seemed heavy in new faces, perhaps a result of continued media exposure.
