Let's Make a Downtown Play Date
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Who says Downtown's no place for kids? This week's list of Kid-Friendly events is a big one. Before I get into the list, I want to invite parents to join me on Saturday, March 14th, for the FREE World City Marionette Theatre performance at 12:30 pm. Tickets will be distributed beginning at 11:00 am.
This is the perfect chance for parents to meet without any stressful awkward silences, fear of not knowing anyone, not fitting in and all the feelings that make us feel like nervous little girls and boys. Email me at susana@blogdowntown.com if you’re interested.
I would also like to remind you that the next neighborhood council Education Committee meeting is on Wednesday March 11th. Look for more information at http://dlanc.com.

Susana, thank you for your continued support and dedication to this community. It does make a difference!
Grandparents, I heard about two studies lately and they both concluded that children who spend time with their grandparents do better in school, get better jobs and form better life long relationships. Which also means they're less likely to get into trouble!
Susana, thanks again for taking the time to research and record so many opportunities for parents AND grandparents (aunts & uncles) to get out with their kids for little or no money. Having fun enjoying the arts, fairs, etc. and at the same time strengthing their family bond.
Priceless!!!
