Syrup Desserts Opening Its Doors for Art Walk

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — A real opening won't come for another two weeks or so, but those who have been eagerly awaiting Syrup Desserts might want to pay a stop by the Spring street eatery today during the Downtown Art Walk. Syrup plans to open at noon, serving a limited menu the rest of the day.

The space will be showing works by artist Asia Eng. Eng will be on-hand from 5 to 9pm.

Once the full menu rolls out, Syrup plans to offer espresso, dessert waffles/crepes, gelato and eventually bistro sandwiches and fresh salads.

I can't wait for Syrup to open. Last art walk, a little girl was handing out drinks...I got an iced green tea, and I swear to god, it was the most delicious tea ever. Can't wait to see if they can duplicate.
