Gloria Gaynor

GRAMMY-Winning Disco Queen Gloria Gaynor will be at the GRAMMY Museum on Thursday, October 22, celebrating the 30th anniversary and impending re-release of her hit "I Will Survive." Tickets for the show are on-sale now, but we've got a couple pairs to give away to blogdowntown readers interested in attending the show.

The singer will answer questions about her 40-year career and play several of her songs, including "I Will Survive."

The show, part of the GRAMMY Museum's "Legends" series, takes place in the facility's 200-seat Sound Stage.

Want to see the show? We've got two pairs of tickets to give away. Just leave a comment telling us why you want to go, and make sure to include contact info via email or Facebook. Contest closes Wednesday at noon.

Seems Diva Gloria has kept it real for 30 years. She is a true survivor..So I'd like to go to celebrate her milestone and shake my "rump" to the "thump" of her all time jam "I will survive!"

Gloria in excelsis Disco

First I was afraid

No, it can’t be that long.

But it was 30 years ago

When I first heard your song.

You were the baddest of “Bad Girls”.

We all had to “Give it up”.

Me and every “Macho Man”

knew you were the real “Hot Stuff”.

Ms. Gaynor

You are the one.

Its Grammy time now

Its not for just for anyone.

The “Dancng Queen” who goes way past “Funkytown”

With you its always “Lady's Night”

You more than “Turn the Beat Around’.

Oh yes, its you

You have survived

Though disco’s gone away

You are still “Stayin Alive”

You've got your song to sing

And with all the love you bring

you'll survive

You will survive

You will survive.
