Falafel Express opened just over a month ago, but the simple and well executed cafe already seems to have found its place Downtown. During the July Downtown Art Walk, the restaurant planned to extend its hours and find enough customers to stay open until the event's official 9pm end time. Turns out the cafe was filled with gallery goers until 11:30pm. Not...

On Saturday morning, the upper and lower eco-friendly fields of Vista Hermosa Natural Park were brightened by the colors of soccer uniforms, as young players darted in and around trails, rocks and grass. It's Thursday, July 10th, and the end of the week is a slow one for Council. Council has one meeting and no committees slated for the next two days, so we fill in items Downtowners should take note of with a few outside entries.
