Create a User Account

A blogdowntown user account allows you to leave comments without having to type in your information each time. It also allows you to participate in some of the special features of the site, such as the ability to add photos to certain stories.

To activate your account, you'll need to supply a valid email address. Once you sign up, you'll receive a message containing a verification code and instructions on how to complete the signup process.

Your name will be displayed with comments on the site.

Your email address will be used for verification, and will also be your username to log into the site. It will not be shown publicly.

Your password must be at least six characters long. Please type it twice.
